Re: diving log slow after W10 creators update

Thanks, that was very easy to do. For whatever reason, I had over 26,000 lines between <AvailableItems> and </Available Items>. I don't think I tinkered with the layout quite that much. :D

Re: diving log slow after W10 creators update

I'm running into the same issue, and can see that my layout file has sudden grown quite large -- probably from all the tinkering I did on my last dive trip in May. What's the secret to 'slimming down' the XML?

Re: Location Service is not working on this Device

I've now gone back and forth between the 1.6 release and the APK you provided me for evaluation. With respect to both versions, I would like to note that the Location Service works far more often than it fails. In fact, I would guess the success rate is over 90%. So this is not as big an issue for m...

Re: Location Service is not working on this Device

There is no urgency right now as I don't have any dives planned for a couple of months, but I'm happy to test the new APK if that would be helpful to you. The only problem is that I don't always get the error, and don't know any specific steps that allow me to reproduce it reliably.

Re: Location Service is not working on this Device

In the latest version of the Android app, locating a dive site by GPS works sometimes and not others. As yet, I have been unable to determine why there is this inconsistency. The error message I am receiving when the Location Service fails is: Location service is not working on this device. (NullPoi...

Location Service is not working on this Device

I get the message "Location Service is not working on this Device" whenever I attempt to add the current GPS coordinates to a Dive Site. Location services are definitely enabled, and are working fine with all of my other apps. This is a Samsung S4 with Android 5.01 (Lollipop). Thanks for a...

Re: Wrong Dive Times on Import/Download from Oceanlog/Veo 20

Just a follow up to close the thread. Thank to Jef the data import issue from the Veo 200 has been resolved. I did not pursue the Oceanlog import issue further as there was very little data there that wasn't already on the computers.

Thanks Sven and Jef for your help!

Re: Wrong Dive Times on Import/Download from Oceanlog/Veo 20

Hi Sven, Having gone through so my iterations of my tests with multiple dive computers, I wanted to be sure that the issue was not the result of some error or confusion on my end. So I decided to repeat the test one more time this morning on just one computer, creating new logbooks in both Oceanlog ...

Wrong Dive Times on Import/Download from Oceanlog/Veo 200

I have been evaluating Diving Log 6 via an unregistered version. I have hundreds of dives over 35+ years to import, and wanted to be sure I could import (1) all my pre-Dive Computer dives, and (2) all dives thereafter. The solution to the earlier dives was fairly straightforward, using Table View an...
