Re: Joining two or more dives into one

Hi again.

Have you had a chance to look at this option at all?

The kind of diving i do here is often leaving me with two dives that i'd like merging, and the lack of the time gap is really annoying...

Is there any way of fudging the profiles as a workaround in the mean time?

Re: Is there a way to manipulate fields on multiple dives?

Would it be possible to edit multiple dives by selecting a few in Logbook mode? This would be very helpful. Much easier and quicker than going into the table and editing that (no frozen columns makes it a pita), or by using the templates... Just Shift select a block of dives, or CTRL select a few ra...

Re: Dive Site < City/Island < Country data structure

I actually came here today because of this issue, and found this thread! Question: When i type a dive site in, i'm sure it filled out the other two fields, but as i type more letters, it fails to then change them again, staying on the entries it guessed from the first letter typed... So i'm forced t...

Re: Joining two or more dives into one

Thanks, now I understand. Makes sense, however there has to be a safety threshold, otherwise this function would generate a huge profile when users merge accidentally 2 dives with long surface interval, e.g. from 2 different days. Yes indeed. It would make for quite a boring profile eh! :-D You cou...

Re: Set Defaults

I could imagine my idea would take quite a bit of coding, no worries.

I couldn't actually work out how to edit the templates tho? What am i missing?
I have the 5.0.12.

Re: Joining two or more dives into one

If the x-axis was actually the time of day, rather than just the dive time... so the first dive would start say at 08:00, but then i popped up after 30 minutes, at 08:30 for 10 minutes... then went back down, at 08:40, for another 20 minutes, so i surface again at 09:00. When merging these two dives...

Re: Set Defaults

Have you had any time to look into the import defaults per chance?

I still find that i'm repeatedly typing in the same info... but mostly when i haven't gotten around to saving a template ;-)

Re: Joining two or more dives into one

I need to use this once in a while. Very handy. But i noticed one thing. When it joins the two dives together, it literally splices the ends of the two profiles together. Would it also be possible to have the option for it to merge them but maintaining the 'time-in' of the second profile, so the tim...

Re: How to delete '0 m - 900 m' from the Altitude pull-down.

Yeah, when i import from my dive computer it's there... I used to have a Suunto D4... Now i have an OSTC, and it again comes in with 0 m - 900 m. But aren't most of us diving in the ocean? And most agencies use 300m as the start of Altitude diving. So most of us would probably choose 0m - 300m as th...

Re: How to delete '0 m - 900 m' from the Altitude pull-down.

Could those defaults be edited in a future version to such that you remove the space between the 0 and the m So that the list will be: 0m - 300m 0m - 900m etc... With 0m - 300m being first, it should be the desired default for most of us? As over 300m is 'technically' Altitude diving... Is 0m - 900m...

I totally forgot about this... I think i did a clean install of win7 just after trying this... and didn't dive for a few months... so had forgotten! :-/

Cheers for the reminder!

Re: Set coordinates by selecting location on a map

I was wondering if there has been any workarounds found to use Google Maps to place/view our dive sites? It's so frustrating when some of the places in the world i dive are covered in cloud in the Bing/OSM satellite imagery... Typical! :-( ;-) It's a quite time consuming putting down placemarks in g...

Re: Set Defaults

I've been using the templates as you showed me... Works good. But. I'd still like to see a more elegant way of achieving this. Could we have the ability to select the template at time of import (from our dive computer)? It should remember the last selected template and also display all the fields th...
