"diving log 6.0 has stopped responding.." when I open it

I recently had to reload my Pc. When I reinstalled DL6 and then tried to open the program I get an error message that says "Diving Log 6.0 has stopped responding..." then closes the program. I have tried reinstalling, running in a compatibility mode...etc. I am using Windows 7 Pro x64.

Has anyone run into this before?

Which security software are you running? These kind of issues often come from security software blocking Diving Log. Also make sure that .NET Framework is installed in the latest version.

Thanks for your response! To be honest, I didn't think about the .net framework...I had to reload my PC and installed DL6 before I installed Windows updates (whopping 267 updates...). I will install .net framework and test it out. Security software I'm using is nothing special atm...MS essentials (which I disabled and tested...issue still presented itself). I am betting that it is .net framework. I'll post an update later today.
