Marine life filter.

Post by Sharkman »

Is it possible to add a Marine Life filter to the logbook please?
It would be great to be able to see the number of encounters with specific species.

Thank you.

The way marine life is stored cannot be filtered like normal fields.

Different topic maybe, but it is a bit related..

If you search within the marine life section (top right corner), e.g. by 'Shark' (to get your view filtered to more easily select the species you have seen), once you check the box of that species, it unchecks the ones you already checked.

Would be good if there can be some filtering done or so in this?

Hello Ruurt

Yes, this is a known issue. I've tried to solve this in the past, but unfortunately it is very difficult they way search/filter works. The reason is, that the other checked items are not available in the list when you save the dive and are lost. Difficult to solve, but maybe I will find a solution in the future. Hi Sven,

No problem! Just by coincidence I stumbled upon this topic (now and then I like reading through the various sections) and it just popped my mind :-)

Cheers!
