Bug in statistics query for supplytype

Post by scubal »

Seems to be a bug in the 'supply type' statistics query.
CCR = supplytype 2

When I ask for statistics in the IOS version it shows 86 CCR dives. 3 of those are NOT CCTR. They are OC.
When I run the same query on the same logbook file on the PC version of diving log (6.0) it show 83 CCR dives - which is correct. If I query the underlying database directly (using Access) there are only 83 records with supplytype = 2.

So its seems as though the embedded query for suuuplytype in the IOS version has a bug?
Running version 3.5.8(3.100)

I'm just guessing, but maybe for those dives there is another secondary tank with SupplyType = 2? The "Tank" database table has also a SupplyType field. I do not analyze this table on the PC, but maybe it will be checked in the iOS app? I will point the iOS developer to this thread, but you can have a look at the tank table in the meantime.

That was it. Thanks
Somehow I had managed to add a secondary CCR tank to those three OC dives.
Dont know how - fat finger I guess.
Couldnt see it until I went into 'Tanks and Gas' (on the PC).
Removed the extra tanks and now both apps (windows and IOS) regard them as OC dives.
Mystery solved :)
