Transfering LogBook files to another PC

Post by shark667 »

I'm trying to find out how I can transfer my LogBook files to another PC. I can't seem to find a way to do it, any help would be greatly appreciated. My old Laptop has WIN 10 and the New Laptop Has WIN 11. I also have Diving Log 6.0 downloaded on both with all my dives Loaded on the Laptop PC with WIN 10. The New Laptop PC with WIN 11 on it and with Diving Log 6.0 downloaded on it with no log book on and without any dives recorded dives.

You can copy your logbook file like any other file to your new PC, e.g. via USB stick or external hard drive. I recommend to copy the complete "Diving Log" folder from your Windows documents folder from the old PC to the new PC. Copy also all images you've used in your logbook to the new PC to the same location. Then select your logbook on the new PC (File > Open Logbook)
